Pastor Joseph Smith has faithfully served as pastor of Pine Air Baptist Church since 2015. He accepted Christ at age 15 and surrendered to the ministry in 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Refuge Baptist College and has served in various ministry roles, including more than ten years as a missionary at Hope Children’s Home.

Pastor Joseph and Melissa are blessed with three grown children, two children in heaven, and two grandchildren. Pastor Joseph enjoys hunting and spending time with family, while Melissa enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and writing.

Their desire is to see believers firmly rooted in the Word of God and committed to sharing the Gospel with others.
